Ahhh my FS-10, I love it!. My widescreen home videos are spectacular on my widescreen TV.

Yes you can easily move the files from the internal memory to the card, please see page 53 of your manual:

If you’re still having problems, it might be the card itself. Consider purchasing a new 4GB SDHC card.

Once you transfer to an SDHC card, you can then use an inexpensive card reader to more quickly and safely transfer your movies to your computer. But I recommend that you also use a freeware program called “SDCopy.exe” (Google it) to conduct this transfer. SDCopy quickly converts Canons “Mod” file format into mpg format, and preserves the widescreen format.

You then can use the Imagemixer software that came with your camera, and select “Browsing & Authoring”. Next right-click on “DVD List” in the left column and select “New DVD list” and name it. Then drag and drop all desired mpg files into the list. Next insert a DVD-R into the burner (sorry, it MUST be DVD-R only, DVD+R will not work with Imagemixer) and select “Write”. You’ll have a widescreen DVD ready to pop in your player in 15 minutes!
