Everyone takes good picures good yet relatively inexpensive camera?

I’m looking for a good camera that can take relatively good pictures, like a Nikon or a Canon. Something with a relatively large lens, has a good zoom, maybe has the capability to change lenses.. I’m not very camera savvy, but i know what i want. Any ideas?

I suggest the Canon A1100 Is until you have a better idea what it is you really want

I’d look at a Sony a230. You can find them for under $ 400, with a basic lens. But you need to know what exactly what you want before you go looking. For under $ 200 you can buy a Fujifilm Finepix S1500. It’s a bridge camera that’s well made & takes good photos.

Film cameras are inexpensive and take good pictures. Like their digital counterparts, they can have large lenses with good zoom, and they can have the ability to change lenses (it will depend on the type of camera – since you don’t really say, I don’t know what you want).

Ideas? I would recommend an SLR camera. They are readily available and prices vary from absolutely cheap (film) and relatively cheap (digital) to expensive and very expensive.

If you want digital, you should get an ‘entry level’ SLR camera. Or you can buy a used one from a reputable seller to save even more money. Don’t be surprised if the lens you want costs more than the camera body.

Lastly, it is the person behind the camera that takes good pictures, not the camera itself.
